Hi friend,
I was introduced to Frank Ostaseski (his website) and his work many years ago, via my dear friend Julie Chippendale (her Facebook Page).

He is a Buddhist teacher, author, founder of the Metta Institute and Zen Hospice Project.

His real life story is nothing less than profound.

I follow him to this day and find his teachings to have a profound effect on me as do many around the world. You can find his book: “The Five Invitations” here.

p.s. side note: you really have to stay on top of what he is doing if you want to snuggle into one of his events. Which I do, and I still wasn’t able to get into: The 2025 Tipi Village Meditation & Inquiry Belonging Retreat!

A wonderful video podcast with Wendy MacNaughtonLingsheng Li, and Frank Ostaseski can be found here.

Quotes I’m Pondering

“Exploring our own hurt, in addition to contributing to our healing, helps us feel empathy for others who have suffered similar injuries.”

— Frank Ostaseski
